Mar Atlante is a joint project by two men in love with the sea. The photographer and naturalist Sergio Hanquet and the writer Angel Vallecillo have combined there efforts and their passion to create a book infused with purity and freedom. Its pages take the reader on a breath taking artistic journey under the water: light, fear, life, silence etc. Rather than as a mere natural resource, the ocean is presented as a living being whose contemplation leads us to a better understanding of ourselves.
